Great opportunity: overhead (EOT) crane operator (Benue State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Tarka, Benue State. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. Day-to-day duties: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block You should have: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Current medical and eyesight certificate At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
