Machine operator (earthworks) — Harrison County

Join our team: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Harrison County, West Virginia. The role involves: • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains What we are looking for: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
