Hand presser • Talata Mafara, Zamfara State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a hand presser in Talata Mafara, Zamfara State. You will be based in a busy laundry. Day-to-day duties: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. We offer ₦170,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
