Join our team: we are hiring a milling machinist in Somervell County, Texas. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. What we are looking for: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to grind and set HSS cutters On the job you will handle: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
