Plastering hand — Jackson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plastering hand in Jackson County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day Day-to-day duties: • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
