Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Jega, Kebbi State. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Day to day you will fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. ₦205,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
