We are recruiting: we are hiring a meat cutter in Bagwai, Kano State. The job is at a wholesale meat market. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry On the job you will handle: • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
