Skimming plasterer wanted in Randolph County

Join our team: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Randolph County, Illinois. You will be based on a busy domestic building site. On a typical shift you will float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; check walls for plumb and level as you go. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • CSCS card or willing to obtain one Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
