Immediate opening: we are hiring a press setter operator in Bedford, England. You will be based in a forging and pressing unit. On a typical shift you will apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; record output and downtime on the production sheet. Requirements: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
