Immediate opening: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Majuli, Assam. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Rotating shifts.
