Join our team: we are hiring a halal butcher in Ness County, Kansas. You will work at a busy retail butcher's shop. You will keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights. Requirements: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours.
