Gardener wanted in Defiance County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gardener in Defiance County, Ohio. You will be based in a botanical garden. The role involves: • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs Requirements: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules Full-time with occasional weekends.
