Immediate opening: we are hiring a wood machinist in Clay County, Illinois. Day to day you will erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions. What we are looking for: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Good eye for detail and a clean finish 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
