Steam press operator wanted in Pierce County

Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment The role involves: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits.
