Vacancy available: we are hiring a banksman in Barnstable County, Massachusetts. Your main tasks: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
