Trainee butcher wanted in Aboh-Mbaise

Join our team: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Aboh-Mbaise, Imo State. The job is in a supermarket meat department. Day to day you will keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; season and marinate meat on request. Requirements: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Six days a week, one day off.
