Great opportunity: we are hiring a wood machinist in Pershing County, Nevada. You should have: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Own basic hand tools You will hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
