Steam press operator wanted in Morris County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steam press operator in Morris County, New Jersey. The job is in a garment export house. The role involves: • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Give each garment a final press before packing • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
