Immediate opening: press setter operator (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press setter operator in Somervell County, Texas. You will be based at a busy press shop. Requirements: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses The role involves: • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. $220 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
