Great opportunity: we are hiring a meat cutter in Smith County, Texas. Day to day you will monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
