We are recruiting: we are hiring a banksman in Obowo, Imo State. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather The role involves set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; read lift plans and method statements before starting; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. Pay around ₦650 per hour, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
