Vacancy available: we are hiring a confectioner in Snohomish County, Washington. You will be based at a café with an on-site bakery. Your main tasks: • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch Requirements: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
