Day-to-day duties: • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair Ideal candidate: • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding Six days a week, one day off.
