Immediate opening: confectioner (Oregon)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a confectioner in Klamath County, Oregon. The job is in a hotel pastry kitchen. Requirements: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • 2+ years' experience as a baker The role involves: • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
