Great opportunity: we are hiring a carpenter in Payne County, Oklahoma. The job is at a shopfitting company. Your main tasks: • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level Requirements: • Own basic hand tools • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience $16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
