What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Day to day you will rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear.
