Immediate opening: we are hiring a press setter operator in Jefferson County, Alabama. Your main tasks: • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges Ideal candidate: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
