Now hiring: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Madison County, Ohio. You will park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands. Ideal candidate: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Six days a week, one day off.
