The role involves: • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing What we are looking for: • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Valid digital tachograph card • Confident with manual handling and load securing Performance bonus on top of base pay.
