Immediate opening: sausage maker (Georgia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sausage maker in Thomas County, Georgia. You will be based at a busy retail butcher's shop. What we are looking for: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required On a typical shift you will break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; season and marinate meat on request; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone. We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
