The role involves TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding. Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits. Full-time, day shift.
