Plastering hand • St. Clair County, Alabama

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plastering hand in St. Clair County, Alabama. You will work at a plastering and dry lining contractor. On a typical shift you will patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush. You should have: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work Part-time with flexible hours.
