Join our team: we are hiring a tandoor cook in Bond County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Strong knife skills and speed on the line 1+ years on the tools preferred.
