You should have: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections Your main tasks: • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle Full-time, day shift.
