Now hiring: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Sangamon County, Illinois. You will be based at an auto components factory. You should have: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts On a typical shift you will feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area.
