Milling machine operator • Oldham County, Kentucky

Immediate opening: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Oldham County, Kentucky. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. What we are looking for: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience On the job you will handle: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
