Fettler — Jalingo

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fettler in Jalingo, Taraba State. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. The role involves prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around ₦170,000 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
