Nursery worker wanted in Schoolcraft County

Join our team: we are hiring a nursery worker in Schoolcraft County, Michigan. You will mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease. Requirements: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules 1+ years on the tools preferred.
