Vacancy available: power press operator (Borno State)

Now hiring: we are hiring a power press operator in Ngala, Borno State. The job is at a busy press shop. Day to day you will check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting. You should have: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Part-time with flexible hours.
