Shakeout operator — Degema

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Degema, Rivers State. What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Day-to-day duties: • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together Performance bonus on top of base pay.
