Now hiring: we are hiring a confectioner in Jefferson County, Alabama. Day-to-day duties: • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Score the top of loaves before baking • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough You should have: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • 2+ years' experience as a baker At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
