Brick and block layer wanted in Fayette County

Join our team: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Fayette County, Ohio. The job is at a residential building site. What we are looking for: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Day-to-day duties: • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
