Immediate opening: lift installation engineer (Assam)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Nalbari, Assam. The job is on a lift modernisation project. On a typical shift you will carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; run load and overload tests with test weights; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators. You should bring ability to read electrical and wiring schematics; comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways; ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
