Groundsman wanted in Jefferson County

Join our team: we are hiring a groundsman in Jefferson County, Texas. The job is at a plant nursery. Day to day you will maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades. Requirements: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting 3+ years on the tools preferred.
