Join our team: we are hiring a halal butcher in Perkins County, Nebraska. Your main tasks: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain What we are looking for: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
