Now hiring: we are hiring a head butcher in Wamba, Nasarawa State. You will monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
