Now hiring: we are hiring a landscape gardener in Elk County, Kansas. You will work in a public park. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Valid driving licence for travel between sites Day-to-day duties: • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
