You should have: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes On a typical shift you will carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes.
