Restaurant steward wanted in Boyd County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a restaurant steward in Boyd County, Nebraska. You will be based in a five-star hotel. Day to day you will punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket); explain the day's specials and recommend dishes; handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager; follow food hygiene and allergen-handling rules; restock side stations with sauces, condiments and napkins. What we are looking for: • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change • Willingness to work weekends, evenings and split shifts At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
