Metal caster — Paulding County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a metal caster in Paulding County, Ohio. You will tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience.
